Sarah has been painting as long as she can remember, and has always been drawn to making art. Beginning in high school, she branched out to teaching art classes to younger students, and this is where she discovered her true passion lies. Over the next few decades, she received a BA in Sociology at UC Berkeley, a Masters focused on oil painting at the Aegean Center for Fine Art in Greece, and a teaching credential from Sonoma State University. She has taught students of all ages, from preschool through college, and remains passionately committed to her career path. When she isn’t in the classroom, she still loves to paint, and has participated in gallery shows throughout the Bay Area. She also loves being outside, especially near the water, and baking treats for her family and friends. When she’s not dreaming up lesson plans, you can find her with her nieces and nephews on the weekends, making paintings and cakes.
